What is the name of the following finding? What underlying condition is it a feature of?

Answer: This image of thickened, hyperkeratotic, scaly, and fissured skin, visible on the tips and sides of the fingers and thumbs of the hand, is a finding referred to as “mechanic’s hands.” This patient has a diagnosis of antisynthetase syndrome (a type of idiopathic inflammatory myopathy).
