Question: What are the crystals seen in the urinalysis below (hint: there are two morphologies!) — and what conditions might you see them in?

Answer: This urinalysis shows calcium oxalate crystals of different morphologies. Calcium oxalate crystals can be seen with nephrolithiasis (oxalate kidney stones) or in ethylene glycol toxicity.
